Chris Laviola, PsyD
Psychologist
I work with people of all ages and particularly enjoy helping people with key life transitions and events that we experience throughout the lifespan. Significant life events whether personal or external impact us and if we have experienced trauma or mental health issues that just makes navigating these all the more difficult. I believe in a strength-based approach that is affirming and solution-focused. My years of experience in various aspects of treatment allows me to be comfortable assisting my clients with a wide variety of problems and backgrounds. This has helped me to see that an integrative approach is most effective. The step of reaching out for help can be extremely difficult and takes courage. We are committed to creating a welcoming, accepting, healing environment. Also, although we take our work very seriously, we also try to bring lightness, humor, and celebrate the joy in recovery as well.

Shiana Fowler, MSW
Clinical Coordinator
I am committed to working with people of all ages! For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with what makes people ‘tick’. Combined with my strong sense of justice and compassion for human suffering, I recently pursued a master’s in clinical social work. The heart of my approach is my belief that human relationships are central to both individual and societal well-being. Navigating issues such as effective communication, accurate self-image, healthy personal boundaries, and finding security in an uncertain world are important to my work.
I grew up in the beautiful Wenatchee Valley and I love activities in the outdoors including birdwatching, hiking, and off-road rock-crawling

Jackson Roltgen
Life Skills Instructor
I’m a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a background in psychology and philosophy, currently completing my master’s degree at Liberty University after earning my bachelor’s from Whitworth University. I previously served in the U.S. Air Force, where I learned the value of calm, clarity, and teamwork in high-pressure environments.
At Prism Psychology, I bring a grounded, collaborative approach shaped by my clinical training, military service, and work in music leadership. Music has been a meaningful way I connect with others—helping create shared experiences, support emotional expression, and build community. I’ve completed over 100 hours of counseling and youth psychoeducation and enjoy creating supportive spaces where people feel heard and encouraged to grow.

Rachael Krause
Life Skills Instructor
I grew up along the Shiawassee River in central Michigan, where my first classroom was the wild and my earliest teachers were painted turtles and bullfrogs. Wandering woods and meadows—gathering wild berries, tending bug bites with jewelweed, and playing in swamp clay—shaped how I understand growth, healing, and connection.
That early bond with the natural world eventually led me to North Idaho. At Prism Psychology, I draw on this lived relationship with nature, along with ancestral wisdom and embodied practices, to support regulation, resilience, and self-awareness. As an herbalist and certified yoga instructor, I hope to help clients—especially young people and families—reconnect with themselves and the living world around them.

When I am not in the work space, I enjoy doing cold-plunges, exercising, and spending time with friends and family.

I am committed to excellence and efficiency. I have worked in both healthcare and environmental services, but my true passion is a commitment to the well-being of animals both domestic and wild and the natural environment they need to live healthy and happy lives.
